Koni China!

Just got my new Koni 1951SP1 shocks. To my knowledge this is still the only shock Koni makes for the Ridewell suspension drive axle on our Magnas. Made in China, not Holland. Says Koni China on them. Not saying the quality has necessarily gone down, but production costs have gone down at least 75% and prices stay the same. Has this been the case for a while? Or is this news?
