Dan:

What key do you need? Is it a barrel key? There should be a number on it.

Kevin The part on the eng. door has no Number and i do not have the key. May be someone who may read this can tell me what the number is. YES it is the barrel key. Did not you say you had a friend who had a 2000 Allure? Maybe he may know the key number?  Southco did make it but they made a lot of barrel keys. 2000 Allure # 30498 dan

We have a 2000 allure #3076 and my same key seems stripped on the inside. The lock on the engine compartment isn't locking as with the key. If the door is open you can rotate the cam for the lock so the key is basically friction based not a keyed lock. With that being said I just ordered this (1) Southco E3-26-715-19 Southco Key - Made in USA - Free S&H | eBay from ebay. It seems to look the same and it does have a good inside if you will. I will try it today and let you all know. Just got coach back from getting inspected to go to fla.

Dan, where are you located? I live in Yuma, AZ, and would be happy to loan you my key for duplication if you are a winter visitor here.

Dan,

The number on my key is:

SOUTHCO E3-26-715-15

If you are in the Yuma area, I would be happy to stop by for a trial fit in your lock. Also check with Kevin Waite. He may have keys in stock.

Those keys are readily available on the internet, just google the number and pick who you want to buy it from.

The lock should also have the key number on it if you can get one out to look at it. If the number is different, just google that number

Don.....

All of the barrel keys may not be the same. Mine is stamped SOUTHCO E3 - 5 - 15. I just don't know what the coding numbers mean.

I have a '93 Magna that uses a barrel key for the bays and the same key works on the engine compartment. I checked and there is no number on my keys. I might have a spare available. Contact me if you are interested.

Hey there Dhere did you see the number for the lock? I just ordered a new key and haven't tried it yet. I am not sure it is the right one based on this. I can't see any numbers on the key though. Thanks,

Joe

You should be able to find a matching key at most RV stores
