Gas discount card?

Yahoo Message Number: 11675
A previous thread mentioned an RV discount card used at Flying J. Is that a card issued by Flying J or some other entity? Could some one please provide some information about discount cards available for gas and other items. I'm familiar with RV park discounts from Good Sam and Passport America. Are there other discounts available? Thanks.

You get a 1 cent discount if you use the Flying J card & I use a Conoco credit card which gives me 3% off at Conoco stations which most Flying J's are. You also can get the 3% discount at Phillips 66 & 76 stations.

Hi Tony,

After putting 20,000 miles on my rig in 9 months, I've gotten pretty familiar with the truck stops/gas stations out there. The following is what I've run across:
Love's - A penny a gallon discount when using a Good Sam card and using the pumps in front; cash or credit. Some Love's with give you the same discount at the truck pumps too; depends from Love's to Love's. Some Love's will also give you credit towards store merchandise (a penny a gallon) if you have a Love's card; again varies from Love's to Love's.

Fly J - Has already been mentioned in previous posts.
Wal-Mart/Sam's Club - A five cent a gallon discount when using their credit card at their gas stations which have diesel pumps. I'm still trying to get a map from them showing which Wal-marts/Sam Clubs has gas stations. Would appreciate any help from the members out there if they know how to get this info.
Pilot - Not familiar if they have a fuel discount program. My experience is that they are usually more expensive than the 3 I mentioned above.
TA (Travel America) - Same as what I mentioned about Pilot except even more expensive than all the above.
The rest of my experiences are with independent truck stops which usually are very competitive but usually no discount programs.

Hope that helps,
Rick,

Citi Bank is offering for a limited time--answer by Oct 15, 2004. Call 1-800-509-8438. Earn 5% cash back for your eligible purchases! Purchases at supermarkets, drugstores, and all gas stations plus 1% on all other purchases. No annual fee. We used Conoco for quite some time, but found on trips could not always find the three stations mentioned previously. You have to call for rebate checks when you earn $50.
