I'm not saying that tile floors are a bad thing , but may not be worth the expenditure, whether money or watts.

I will add our 2 cents worth. We LOVE our heated floor, wouldnt think of being without it. Many times in the winter (spring and fall) it is the only source of heat we use. It keeps the air drier in the coach.
Last but not least, our 2 Devon Rex kitties also love the warm floor. Candace and Dale Hollick
