This is a snip from our home page:

THIS SITE IS SET UP EXCLUSIVELY FOR PRESENT COUNTRY COACH OWNERS.

That's why I joined, but I still think Macke had a valid point regarding RV shopping. Seems to me that if someone asks a CC board whether they should buy a CC or Monaco, guess what the answer will be. There are lots of boards that cover those issues. If a non-owner wants specific information, nothing wrong with that, I have answered a few of those myself and even followed up off the board.

Steve is right, no one was rude to Ms. Oliver. My comment about lurkers was to stimulate members into joining the conversations and I think the more participants the better. If you want to lurk, no problem, I've done it myself.

A few seem to get all worked up over some of this stuff and at times it's comical. This is the best board out there, so enjoy it and lets take a look at those 06's in Moultrie.

What did not go over well this morning is this from Macke:

I found that part of his comments to be hurtful! Period! OUCH! Not very classy IMO!
Thank you again to all who have been so kind and have made me feel welcome. There are polite people and no so polite people in this world. It is nice to be important! But it is important to be nice!!
Looking forward to asking questions and learning about the CC!!

I am not going to waste more space repeating the posts that were made to discourage "outsiders" from posting questions... You can go back and read them yourself. They were not directly in the post to Karen.
They didn't have to be. We are not stupid. She knew they were directed at her and other non CC owners. Perception is reality.
This is getting ridiculous and puerile. Most everyone recognizes the comments for what they were. And I am glad to see by the comments that the vast majority of this group agree on keeping it open, civil and friendly. Until someone changes this to an exclusive group I suggest we reflect that attitude in our posts be they direct or indirect.

Welcome again Karen. I didn't agree with the last part of Mackes post and maybe I should have made that clear. If Macke doesn't answer or read non-owners post, that's OK, everyone has their own agenda. You may find another 1,000 or so that will read and/or respond.

NOW, get going and buy that Country Coach!!!
