Another tire question......

Ok, I am sure all of you have discussed this and I have read some of them already but it seems that Holland Motorhomes, who sold me the Inspire is telling me that I should set the Toyo M120z 11R22.5 tire pressure to 120 psi cold. According to the Toyo chart included with my coach documentation 120 psi cold is the absolute highest number for a single tire (not dual) and that is for a tire handling 6610 lbs which I am not. So looking more at where I will be be in weight (I weighed the coach) I would have these pressures:

Front per tire: 5600 lbs ( 11,200 lbs front axle) at 95 psi Rear per tire: 4950 lbs ( 19,800 lbs rear axle) at 85 psi

Does this seem to make sense from others experience?

Am I reading these charts wrong?

I seem to be over pressure with Holland's advice to be 120 psi all around!?!? I seem to feel the handling at those higher pressure is a bit off.

I was at a Southwest Country Coachers rally a couple of months ago and in a tech session we were told that Toyo now says to inflate to 130 pounds! This I cannot believe and I refuse to do it. Something was said that "there is a problem with Toyo" and now CC is going to Goodyears. I ask what the problem was and was told that the sidewalls were soft. Ok, so what does this mean, I don't know. All I know is that I am going to set the pressures to what the CC manual says until I get something from CC saying different. If I am wrong, then I am wrong and will pay the piper.

I think you'll find that 100 front and 90 rear, cold settings, will be just fine.
