slide problem/99 Allure

Yahoo Message Number: 17444
Good Morning, I have a question for the group.....A friend of ours just had the rubber gasket replaced on his galley slide in his Allure. It seems now that the front of the slide is pushing away from the box/side wall and has caused a leak. There is quite a big separation of the front of the slide box from the corner/wall of the box. Does anyone know if there are stops to keep the slide room from coming in too far and pushing the front of the box loose? He will be appreciative of your input. Thank you, the Hollicks

There should be stop bolts on both slide tubes. Put the slide out and look on the top of the outer end of the tube. This adjustment should not change but possibly the jam nut came loose allowing the stop bolt to vibrate in.
