Removing valances and blinds

Below is a msg to another forum member who has been helping me with this project which was required to replace some windows. For those interested this procedure applies to the 04 Intrigue Suite Sensation, double slide. It may or may not apply to other coaches.

Here is the answer---from the start.
!. Remove front facia (upholstered face) by pulling firmly. It is attached by cabinet latches.
2. Cut one red and one green wire on the right side. These are the wires than exit the outside wall and enter the light box thru a hole in the back. When reassembling butt splice the ends back together.
3. Cut two red and two green wires on the left side. Butt splice as above.

Be careful on the left side to label the wires so that you get the correct greens and correct reds mated when reassembling.
4. Observe four screws in the back lower portion of the light box.
IGNORE THEM!
5. Reach over the light box to the back wall and remove the long horizontal corner molding at the top corner by the ceiling.
This molding is secured by about four finishing nails or brads.
If you lift either the right or left end by prying up with a small screw driver you can get your hand under it and slowly pull it forward. The remaining brads will pull out fairly easily.
6. If you happened to remove the trim at the back of the box (on top) but at the top of the box rather than at the ceiling you will find four screws into a backing board. IGNORE THEM!
7. Remove several screws under the window sill that attach to the outside wall.
8. After completing step 5 above you will observe eight screws through
a backing board and into the outside wall. Remove them. Do this with a helper because this will release the entire assembly including the light box, blinds, side valances and sill. Be careful not to damage the two sidewall light globes as the light box is lowered.

Rich, I know you have figured out some of this already but thought I would put it all into context. This has taken me several frustrating hours as I initially removed those "IGNORE THEM" screws and still couldn't figure out why the box would not come down. All in all I probably have a good eight hours or more on this job which can be done it about 45 minutes.
