3M Frontmask stained by fall wreath

Yahoo Message Number: 34701
My wife bought at Walmart a wonderful fall wreath to decorate the front part of the Coach.

No sign like "Only for indoor use....." And Walmart told me today it should be usable for outdoors!

After last night's rain the whole front of the coach looks like after a crash with personal injuries

and a lot of lost blood. - not bad for Halloween - but what is later? - The red paint of the plastic leafs in the wreath was running down the front and stained the 3M

protection mask. No way to clean it, no soap, no mineral spirit, not even paint thinner, no

scratch remover, no car polish, it deeply penetrated the foil.
Any idea ?????

Hermann,

I don't know if the 3M shield is similar composition to Diamondshield, but Diamondshield recommends using rubbing alcohol (isopropyl) to remove stains from bugs, etc. It has worked very well for us.

Not sure if 3M makes the same recommendation, but it might be worth checking out.
