2007 Allure travel mode coach wont level some of the time

Yahoo Message Number: 55525
I have a 2007 allure 470. When the coach has been setting for a period of time (3 plus weeks) or in storage and then taken out the front end wont go to the travel mode height. After hitting the travel mode button and off button and the hgh reset and moving the coach a little, it finally comes up to the proper travel mode height. I am not sure what I did to get it to the proper height. Does anyone have any suggestions as what the problem is and in a emergency how to get the coach to the correct ride height? Once there, it works great. Its only when its been setting for a long period of time.
Thanks

Mine too Rod.

Mine is also a 2007 470 Allure - 42 foot. It does exactly the same thing by not coming up to travel height after sitting. I had the good fortune of doing a "Factory Delivery". Since I had things to add and some fix it stuff right after the initial delivery, we stayed a few days to get the work done at the Factory. Our delivery tech would pick up the coach every morning a take it to service. I noticed that the coach was really low and almost hit the curb when he took off the first time. According to the tech, it takes 5 minutes after starting before travel mode engages. He also said that he didn't wait any longer because he knew that all the coaches would clear the curbs even in their low position. Now I don't know if that is all true or not but after 2 years it seems to hold. I just had the system checked by JDRV inc. and all is fine including the ride height. He (JD) did wait about five minutes after doing a complete dump of the system before checking the ride height. Then we raised the coach to maximum and again hit the Travel mode and waited 5 minutes and again it was right on. I guess we just have to wait. My 1999 Intrigue was not like that at all. Now I am one of those bad guys who leave the enging running while I do my final walk around and breaklight check. Don't know if that helps but at least you know there are two of us.
