Bedroom slide(passinger side)

Yahoo Message Number: 56015
My bedroom(passinger side)slide does not seem to go all the way out., I can get my fingers behind the molding, must be at least 2" there. I have a 4 slide Allure 42'.. If someone would be so kind to measure (on the outside) how far out the slide extends, I would greatly appreciate that...Thanks Marvin, 07 Allure 31459

Marvin,

13 3/4" on coach 31485. Mine doesn't appear to extend all the way either.

Marvin, I know this sounds stupid, but make sure you have enough oil in your reservoir for the HWH system. Oil reservoir is located in compartment under drivers seat outside bay. Remove what looks like a screw driver handle and there is a dip stick. If you see no oil, then check to see what position your slides must be in for oil check. Once you know that then recheck oil, if you still can not see oil add some and then cycle slides. Recheck oil. If problem has gone away then recheck oil to see what level your at, then possibly add just enough to move the line up. BE SURE not to over file, it makes a very big mess.
I could be off here but this has worked for me. Either the slide won't stay in and comes out after close, or it won't open fully. Why I suggest this is the slide per your description seems to be out equally. Good luck, let me know what happens, thanks

Marvin, you do not have a problem. If you feel behind the wood facia near the top on either side, you will find metal arms that support the top of the slideout. They are vertical when the slide is out, horizontal when the slide is in. They stop the slideout about 2" short of what would seem should be full extension.

Stuart, I think you are right, from what jerry said about his measurements 13-3/4" seem to be about the same as mine., just wanted to make sure.. Thanks to you guy for the help, and thanks also to James about the fluid level.., for once everything seem OK...Now to find a fix for the Vacuum pressure in the Fuel Tank...
