CCI club, CCOwners and Back Biting - not a bad thing

This is especially in response to Marvin's concern, but others might benefit or enjoy (or not):
The back biting that you recently saw directed to me is coming from someone who doesn't read messages very well and then is seconded by people who read their messages. Not a problem. It keeps the board from getting dull. They could, however, get a life, learn to read all of a message and its related messages and then pick on somebody their own size....
Join the CCI club. We need members. The membership cost is peanuts. Rallys are not the only benefit. The people are wonderful, varied, and like-minded, really.
And, when a popoff gets to know you at a rally, you're messages will be welcomed from then on even if you use words like "the rallys are expensive," since it is not as much fun to take pot shots at someone you know.
The CC owners also vary greatly as to the amount of discretionary income they have to throw around and a noisy few don't sympathize when one of "their own" balks at the cost of the rally. They take it as a personal affront and throw cheap shots. But, let one of them gripe about the cost of a hinge and 100 will tell them where to get a cheaper one....

Not a bad thing.

Terry, it is SOP to put your coach number on all posts, or your coach brand if you have SOB. Jerry O #60473

Jerry,

Posting his coach/number (if any) has been asked several times so he is actively ignoring multiple requests to show the usual courtesy to the other members of this board. I can only assume his posts are designed to generate responses for his own enjoyment. He received several thoughtful responses but apparently that isn't enough to cause him to act like a grownup and identify himself and any reason(s) for his interest in us or our rallies. If he were to attend a rally he would find a broad spectrum of folks ranging from those doing whatever it takes to enjoy the lifestyle in trying economic times on up and that everyone respects everyone else.
It's easier to throw stones than build a house - thanks for your and the CCI board's efforts. If we didn't have a conflict Cheryl and I would be in Kerrvile in a flash. We hope everyone has a great time and wish Terry could enjoy it as well.
