Finally got my Bose removed. My unit was attached with two sided foam core tape, one piece along each edge. I used a long cake decorating spatula with a serrated blade on one edge that I purchased from Michael's Crafts. I was able to slip the blade of the spatula under the Bose and pull it diagonally through the foam tape. I gradually cut through the tape and released the passenger side of the unit. Then I was able to raise the passenger side and work on the driver's side. It will be put back in place with 4 velcro patches. I can't imagine why such a secure attachment method was used in the beginning.
I haven't gotten into determining the wiring for my A/V equipment and I don't believe it is connected as it was when the coach was new. I'm the 3rd owner and some of the original components are missing. On the Bose unit, the Tape Input has cables on the input but I have no idea what is hooked to them. The Video Input Left and Right for Video 1 has cables attached and the two Speaker Zones have cables attached. I don't know what the Video 1 input is for. I attached my mp3 player to the AUX input.
