Running Lights for Inspire

Does anyone have information regarding running light replacements for a 2005 Inspire? I have a need for several complete lights and/or the amber covers.

i replaced all 12 of mine with LEDs a couple of years ago...
got them at Walmart for about $7.00 each... they are really "bright" and draw very little amperage compared to the incandesents... no problem since... Think the brand name was "Blazer", they are available with amber and red lenses...

I am considering selling my 2003 Intrigue Suite of Dreams, and want to poll the group about the most efficient method.
I will post in the Yahoo group "for sale" section, but am open to suggestions beyond that. I am parked in a small farming community in West Texas (Plainview), so my local market is extremely limited. I will consider a "sale by owner", but think I will be better served by a consignment arrangement with a major RV dealer. Your thoughts appreciated about that avenue. Referral to a good consignment company also appreciated in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, or possibly Houston for maximum local exposure.

First time I have done this, and all ideas appreciated.

Hi Jack

Suggest you try Crigslist and eBay. With the activities going on in the Eagle Ford Shale oil and gas drilling, there are many people looking for motorhome lodging. I have listed my Prevost (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2002-Motorhome-Conversion-1992-Prevost-XL-/320722663179?pt=RVs_Campers&hash=item4aac8f770b ) and have received several calls and 3 showing from that group in the past week. Good luck!

I'm the "ying" to Jack's "yang" - looking for coaches instead of selling mine. Personally, I wouldn't touch Craigslist with a 10' pole - too many shams, hold-ups and outright theft. Expecialy with an asset worth $$$ (someone was killed over a diamond ring for sale). Plus you don't get a state or national audience like you do with ebay.
Personally, I think consignment at a dealership that has a modern, we'll organized web site is the best bet. It will show up in searches and you'll have someone that can independently review your coach (dealer) against what they typically see ~ should be a help for you!

Thanks George and Mark, good things to consider. Keep the ideas coming.
I will be a little while getting her up to snuff to sell, and have about decided to consign it to one of the large, savvy dealers, just as Mark mentioned. I still need to fix some scratches that were there when I bought it, reinstall a new icemaker/water solenoid, replace the broken Bose head, good cleaning inside and out, etc. She still has the original 2003 electronics that work just fine (except I installed a new Kenwood in-dash backup camera, GPS, AM/FM CD player). Great coach, will compare favorably to others on a good lot. Luckily I have a nice place to move in to and store all my "stuff".
I think I will sell my four panel solar charger separately - not likely I will boondock again.

Jack,

Others have mentioned that insurance coverage while on consignment is an issue. You may want to check with your insurer about your liability and/or check the dealer's policy if they will cover you.
Sorry to hear you are selling.

I sold my previous coach at PPL in Houston. They are consignment only. It sold in less than 10 days and I ended up with more than I had planned based on the NADA online price guide. They were up front with all their dealings with me and I'm happy with the end result.
Insurance has been mentioned and it needs to be checked into. My insurer on the previous coach would not insure the coach while it was on a consignment lot. PPL has access to insurers that will give you coverage.

Thank you, Pete, they were on my short list of places to take the coach. It is not exactly close, but their reputation will make the drive a good investment. I will call them when my little maintenance chores are finished. This is moving right along.

Jack,

You might also try Motorhomes of Texas in Nacogdoches. They used to sell new Country Coaches back when. They do alot of consignments mainly of Foretravel's but also do Country Coach. They have a national exposure and keep the coaches in shape for showing. Have you considered of PPL in Houston for consignment?
Ive also seen Country Coaches on consignment at Foretravel of Texas. Whichever way you go, best of luck! Bill, 05 Intrigue, #11881

Thanks, Bill, I had not considered them. PPL was/is on my short list - I need to visit both to get a feel for how they do things. Thanks for the heads up.

I have replaced all the running light covers on my 05 Inspire. The covers are pretty much standard. Take an old one with you to compare to any rv supply store. I have even seen them at auto supply stores.
