I just acquired a 1995 40' CC Concept. How do you turn the dash radio on? The 15 A fuse from the 12 VDC power supply is OK. ie, wire #88. Is there another fuse at the radio? I have pushed the reset button behind the removable face module.

Jim: On my 94 Concept there is a very thin button on the upper left of the radio just above the volume up button. Very hard to hit especially when driving. Of course, yours may be different. Barrie Boas 94 Concept 5111

The radio in my Concept is a Sony Model XR-C450. I don't have a manual but downloaded one from a Sony web site. Darn thing said nothing about turning the radio ON. Does anyone else have this model radio?

I have a different model Sony.

To turn it on I push the "SOURCE" button.
This allows you to select AM, FM, CD etc which also turn it on.

Thanks for the response. I pushed that button and all the others on the front panel with no luck. I've come to the conclusion something is wrong elsewhere. I'm going to pull the panel, where the radio is mounted, and hope there is another fuse in the power line.

Bob,

Found part of my problem. I checked everything, found a fuse in the back of the radio. It was blown. Replaced it and pushed "Source", still nothing. Then I got to wondering, maybe the display isn't working. Turned the volume way up and and pushed source a couple of times, got static. Found an FM channel, so the tuner is OK. Display doesn't work and imagine having it fixed would cost as much or more than a new radio. I'm still pondering this.

On my 2006 Allure there is a button to the left of the driver where you fans, backup camera and etc are located that is labeled {dash home} that has to be on before my radio will work,

My '91 Sedona had a Fujitsu (SP) it had the same problem, no lighted numbers. But if I took a flashlite I could see the numbers in the litle window. CC said it couldn't be repaired localy, would have to be sent to the factory. I didn't opt for that, it was still in & working when we traded for our magna. bob '02 Magna 6028

Jim, I replaced my '96 Intrigue radio when the light display went out about 5 yrs ago for about $125.00. A nice result was the single CD slot played MP3 and so from computer did MP3 CD of music that would play for 3 days, also was able to put my portable GPS thru the ceiling speakers, done at Best Buy all for the price of the radio - good deal for older coach. Well, I'll be damned, shined a light on the display and sure enough I could see the numbers. I would never thought that could happen. In fact, I would think it would be the opposite, bright light would wash the display. Learn something new everyday.
