Just purchased an 07 Inspire. Can't find the water filter. Do you have to remove a panel for access?

Take a look just in front of the right read duals. You'll see a section without a latch. Your filter is inside. Take a peak underneath this area and you should see a couple of sheet metal screws. Remove them and the door will swing up as some of the others do.

I have a 2006 Inspire 360 #51668 and mine is behind a removable panel under the bathroom sink. Don't know if your's is the same or not.

This is getting interesting. The filter in my coach is in the third compartment on the passenger side. On the left side there is a square box that covers the filter. I will look to see if I also have one in the sink area.

I have an 04 Inspire, I can not find the water filter under the kitchen sink. Did you have to remove any wood panels to find it?

Walt,

The water filter they speak of is a small, one piece cartrdige that only services the kitchen sink. It is mounted on the outside wall of the coach behind the wooden panel. After you remove the panel, hire a chimpanzee to reach the filter. I pulled mined, extended the hoses and it now lies on the bottomg of the cabinet, still behind the paneling.
There is another even smaller filter behind the drawer under the fridge. It services the ice maker.

I had to remove a wood panel and it was on the very back wall. I could not reach so John Davis moved it so I could reach it.

Thank you so much, I will get my mother in law, she is the closest thing to a chimpanzee, to reach in there to get the filter out. She will think it is a banana.

Thank You Barney!! That is correct for my coach. I could not find it in any of the literature or schematics. When I opened it there was no cartridge inside. Our coach is only 7 numbers from yours, (52066) Thanks again Jim

Hi Jim,

Glad you found it. I had the same problem locating it on ours also. The housing is empty because the original filters are no longer available. I replaced the entire filter with one that has available filters.

I just removed the hose adapters from the new housing and replaced them with the fittings that were on the old housing. Had to make a mount to hold the thing but all-in-all it was fairly easy.
