2000 ALLURE HEADLIGHTS

I am still looking for a newer looking head lights, AS i am having the RV painted. So far i have in for on how to replace the old ones with the same thing. But no luck on were to fine a newer looking light and if it well fit or not.
Have asked people who have change to the newer ones, the answer off the inter net. But do not know what sit or who they got it from.

Almost all CC head lights and tail lights of your (and our) model years are Ford truck/SUV items. Explorer and F series pickups are common sources. Once identified the cheapest sources I have found are collision repair parts suppliers. I have purchased Federal Motor Vehicle Safety certified headlights for much less than $100 for a pair, complete with new bulbs and in some cases new electrical connectors. All of the websites offering replacement OEM headlights have pictures of the items, finding yours shouldn't take a lot of time. I believe the Ford ID for many CC models have been posted in the past, a search of the archives might get you what you need but I think searching the collision supplier websites might be faster.
Adapting newer design lights would be fairly expensive requiring fiberglass modification but this can cerainly be done by any competent shop. The problem is finding a shop interested in doing the work - and for a reasonable price. As Corvettes are largely manufactured of fiberglass, any shop that repairs those cars can do all sorts of 'glass modifications as well.
