Norcold Question

On our Norcold there is an arrow on the first fin. That's where we've set ours. We had a major problem with the freezer building up 2-3 in of ice every 10 days. This is our first new to us coach, so it was a learning experience for us. We were told that we needed to replace the unit. One day after I defrosted the freezer for the 6th time, I removed the small door containers to clean them. I closed the door and it closed 5/8in tighter. After checking it out, I realized the top door container was striking the ice container all this time keeping it from closing. Needless to say, we were very happy to find the problem. We'd lost so much food, because the frig would never get to correct temp. John/Jackie 2003 Allure 30951

Check and clean your door seals. Improper sealing causes ice build-up.
