I found metal ones at Skycraft in Orlando, FL. I winter in the area and visited their store. They have an online site buy I have no idea how to find these nuts. Perhaps a call to them.

The ones I bought do not completely tighten and I think I'm going to make a washer out of heavy paper and see if that helps.

We purchase some from Country Coach last summer. We originally purchase some from Specialty Logistics which is no longer in business.

I ordered and received 40 of these. Contact National Indoor Storage (RV) 469-277-1330 and ask for Tim, the parts mgr. They are located in Lewisville, TX - top notch facility! I'm sure they would drop ship to you.

Hope this helps.

Radio Shack has real nice ones that are metal. Replaced all mine!

We replaced the ones on our 99 Magna with hex shaped ones from Ace Hardware.

Jim, I also tried Radio Shack but they were not able to help me. Do you remember what size they were so I can try another Radio Shack. Lou

I had no luck at my Ace Hardware store. Do you happen to know what the size of the hex nuts were that you bought. Thanks Lou

It was several years ago when I bought a bunch of them. They were in their little parts drawers - the ones that carried switches, capacitors, diodes, and many other miscellaneous parts. I bought a bag of 20 or so if I remember correctly. I replaced all the existing plastic ones as they were deteriorating. I just took an old good one in to insure size.
Good luck!!
