Kitchen plumbing problem in slide

We use our 2001 CC Allure for short trips that are basically anywhere from 1-4 hours from our home. We are now at the RV park 45 minutes from home. Shortly after hooking up to city water, we sprouted a leak that appeared to be gray water as soon as we turned on the kitchen faucet. The slide was still closed and the water came out from under the slide, on the kitchen floor- the kitchen cabinet is dry. It would seem to me that the connection from the kitchen drain (in the slide) would be the problem. Am I right and if so, how do I access. There is no problem as long as I don't use the kitchen sink. The upside is that I have a good Sam warranty that should cover the problem if I go without the sink for the next 3 days. Any ideas?

My brother in law has a 2001 Intrigue that had a problem about like yours. He pulled the kick panel under the sink doors off . The drain pipes were right behind the panel. Can not remember how he fixed the connector that was leaking.

On our 2000 Allure, there is access to the galley slide plumbing when the slide is out. There is a pexiglass panel under the slide, closest to the plumbing bay, where you can see the hoses. Hope this helps.

This exact same thing happened to our coach. Because we are the same vintage, I'll guess that they are similar or the same and tell you what I had to do to effect a fix. CC used an unglued (which is what has come apart) friction fit arrangement to connect the fixed drain line to the flexible drain line that is required for the movement of the slide. I can't remember exactly what fittings I used to effect a permanent fix, so you'll have to make the assesment yourself and use your imagination.
Beneath the sink trap, there is a carpet covered boxed in area. 1) Remove 4 screws that hold it in place. (two are along the top right edge and the other two are along the bottom edge toward the rear of the box) 2) Remove the box to access the drain plumbing. You should find a vertical tee fitting and 2 water supply lines. 3) Remove the thick nylon plate that secures the drain fittings. This will allow approximately a 7"x9" opening to access what is beneath. 4) Remove the kick panel beneath the drawers and sink doors.
This procedure should allow you to adequately access everything that you need to get your hands on to get a permanent fix. The braintrust that engineered that connection without so much as a hose clamp should get 40 lashes with a wet noodle.
Mine works fine, now, (5 years and counting) and will NEVER come apart again.

On our 2000 Intrigue it was the flexible drain line that developed a crack and leaked. I accessed it as other have said thru the plexiglass cover you can access with the slide open. I ended up splicing in a new flexible line and have been good since. Not the easiest to do in the tight confines but not a real difficult one to do.
