Signature?

I've looked everywhere on this site I can but cannot find how to add a signature that automatically show up.  Please advise.

Jerry,

This is how I did it.

Upper right corner is a symbol that looks like a "Wheel" has several little points on it. click on it and then click on "settings" then click on "writing emails"  in that section will be a section for "Signature".  type what you want your signature to say and show.
Try it and if it does not work get back on here and get some more help.

Dave,

When I click on the little "Wheel" all I get is Account Info, Help and Suggestions. Nothing regarding Settings nor email even when looking through the Account Info. Apparently we are not all getting the same web page.

Just asking... Are you in Yahoo Mail? or do u get your mail through some other service (browser) that grabs your yahoo mail and forwards it to your browser.

I have a Yahoo email account but only use it to sign into the CC chat group. Other than that I use a couple of other email accounts for my daily use. I have a signature setup in Yahoo email but it doesn't place a signature into my posts.

From the message header and the group's transaction log, it appears you are using an AOL.COM email account to sending messages to the group.

Do you have a signature set up with your AOL client? Any signature you have set you with your Yahoo Email account will NOT be used when posting from AOL.

If you are posting by direct browser access to the CCO group, you are again bypassing using Yahoo mail, other than using your Yahoo account (not email) to log into the CCO group.

Thanks for the information. I wish I could say it makes sense but it's just another example of how Yahoo has made this forum difficult to use. I don't have this problem with other forums I frequent.

I do understand that Yahoo is using my email client (AOL) to send the posts instead of theirs. Good for Yahoo but not so good for the user. The only reason I have a Yahoo email account is they stopping letting me use my Gmail account to log in. I already have more email accounts than I want. Again, I don't hang out on this forum like I used to for these reasons.

I have no settings wheel on the screen.  I do have a clock for "Membership" where I can get to "Edit Preferences"; but signature is not among those I can change.

I must be signed in to the wrong site address.  My page is at "groups.yahoo.com".  Where am I supposed to be?

One thing Jerry is many if not most of us post through email not from the site.

try going to the main Yahoo.com page.
in the right upper corner, you should see a symbol that looks like an envelope.
That should take you to your Yahoo email account and log in.
I looked at mine after your last post and I have no "groups" in the web page line at all...  It looks like this  //us-mg6.mail.yahoo.com there more, I'm not real computer helpful person.  At most all I want it to do is work when I do what I think is the right thing to do.

Dave et al, I found a way to do a Yahoo signature, for my iPad at least, in the iPad mail account settings.  However, I have to be in Yahoo mail to use it.  Now, I have to figure out how to redirect my digest to my Yahoo account.  We'll see.
