Inspection in Houston area

I'd like to become a new owner of a country coach and was wondering if anyone on here can help me out. Currently I'm looking at 2002 Magna on PPL's lot in Houston. I'm in PA and would like to find someone who would be willing to inspect it for me. I would trust someone more on here as independent. I would be willing to pay for this. So if anyone is interested please reply and we can set up a phone call and discuss it.

Don't use RV Masters. They are terrible, will just rip you off for very little work.

Motorhomes of Texas in Nacogdoches TX have done good work for me in the past, and work on many Country Coach motorhomes, but they are 2 hours north of Houston. Maybe they could advise on a mobile tech... I would call them 800 651 1112

Rick,

You could speak with Michael Wiel, service manager at Houston Prevost. He is very knowledgeable and is very familiar with Country coaches. I don't know if he will travel to the coach or if you would have to take it to him. Their shop is about a 30 minute drive from PPL.

I had Harry Lockwood inspect my 02 Affinty prior to purchase. Flew him from Sacramento to Dallas. Former Country Coach employee and knows these coaches. You may want to check and see if he'd be wiiling to do it.

That one is priced to sell it won't last long if someone knows what they are buying. Inspection good idea I own one 2002 Magna and just spent 30,000 because of leak inside walls now good as new except for the repair center that did the job about two times what it should be.

Sorry for another negative review. Also avoid Mize Incorporated, DBA Mobile Repair Specialists. They gave me a glowing report on a 2008 Affinity at Motorhome Specialist.

However the pictures they provided told an very different story. Tears in the carpets and seats, stains and scratches everywhere. And worse, rust everywhere in the ceiling. Speakers full of rust. Some rust coming our near the entry area. They told me not to worry, just condensation from the A/C! Fortunately I got my deposit back and found one local.

I know how you feel. We shopped around for several month unsuccessfully "" Decided to drive out to Junction City. Went to CCI - had all the leaks repaired and coach repainted to original specs. Doug Beaudry and his crew did a fantastic job. Looks and drives perfect in every way. ...
