Bedroom slide water leak

Yahoo Message Number: 109260
We found some wet carpet in the very rear on the bedroom in our 2006 Affinity 45. Pulled up the carpet and found lots of mold and wood rot :-( We traced the leak to the slide roof. The rubber sealant had dried enough to separate from the aluminum. Unfortunately all the carpet, slide walls, slide ceilings and most of the bedroom floor needs to be replaced.

Does anyone know what material was used to seal the slide roof? Or what is recommended to use now?

Thanks!

As an endorsement, I have found that Kevin Waite is invaluable to maintaining my coach. I have yet to find something that he can't do or fix, and if I need a part, Kevin knows where to get if, if he doesn't already have it in stock.

Merry Christmas Kevin,
