Hazard lights flasher

I am back and still looking for that small unit that controls the hazard lights. Someone said theirs was bolted to the back of tachometer. I just looked there and did not see it in that location. I did note that someone had replaced the sounder unit (RadioShack). So, hopefully someone has had an issue with that unit?

On my 01 intrique it's located in the front access panel by the door, under the dash. Opening is about 3 X2 maybe. That is where I found them, plus other interesting stuff.
