Heated Galley/Bath floor 2007 Magna 630

Short version. Fridge water supply leaked and ran under the tile floor, lifted 2 tile corners, I removed the 2 tiles and broke the element wire, spliced it back together (1 splice). Turned on the system and GFI is tripping. If I remove the Neutral wire from the line side and replace it with the neutral wire from the load side the GFI will remain on. If I touch the neutral wire from the line side to either neutral terminal it trips it.
Have tried running a separate jump wire on the neutral side and it still trips the GFI. Gone through the breaker boxes and made sure all connections are tight and checked the terminals under the fridge for secure connections and all seems well.
Any advice beside selling the coach would be welcomed.
Update:
GFI is now operational and power arrives to the waterproof connection to the heated floor under the refrigerator. When I plug them together the GFI trips. I traced the heat wire and the floor sounds out as active with no breaks that I can detect. My floor heat adjustment is through the Silverleaf in the back. Could it be the Silverleaf or ??
