Allison Trans Keypad

Has anyone had a problem with the selector keypad for the Allison transmission? Like - the display doesn't work?

Only when I didn't connect down all the cables to the chassis battery during a battery maintenance time. On y 2000 DSDP Spartan there is a cluster of small gauge wires into a single connector that slipped out of site and didn't notice them when I put things back together. The Allsison shift panel was dark and the engine wouldn't turn over.
