Rear slide extended while driving

My passenger rear slide extended while driving 35 MPH today. When I pulled over I see hydraulic fluid dripping from the bay with the chassis batteries. I opened the hydraulic solenoid for line 'C' 6 turns CC but never did get any air release as per book. The winch was very hard to turn to drag the room in plus it is cock-eyed with the front out 2-3 inches and the back flush.
Question: Does anyone know how to get the room in flush? It would seem the pressure is released since I lost between 1 & 2 qts. ATF fluid under the slide.

I talked with CC emergency service and he was stumped what more to do.
Coach-Net service said as long as I was off the road they couldn't do anything more until Monday.

We had the same thing happen but with the front passenger slide, Just 3 weeks ago on our brand new Affinity. That too had a broken hydralic line and fluid everywhere. It luckily happend after we had stopped to straighten a loose mirror. We were lucky it didn't happen on the street like yours. However we had to winch in the stupid slide. There are 2 celynoids (SP?) for the C, as A,B and D in our case. You have to release both of them and do it often. It will come in eventually with lots of muscle power.
Ours is still at Beaudry getting the line fixed. Good luck with yours.

The hydraulic solenoid has a small screw in the end ...forgot to tell you that you should take a pair of plyers and pull it straight toward you. That releases the pressure. Same to the one right in back of it. One on each side of the box.

This happened to a friend of mine with a 2005 Magna just last week. Once you have tension on the crank, turn on the slide key and hit retract briefly. Then crank it a couple more clicks and hit retract again. Continue until you have it in all the way. It will not go in completely straight, but once you have the hydraulic problem fixed (ours was a loose hose) the alignment will fix itself. Just make sure the slide is in far enough to be secure for travel.
