C9 Propylene Glycol and milage

Hi, We have a 2005 CC with a C9 and CC said to use propylene glycol antiferrze but I cant find it, does anyone know where we can get it.
We have also had poor milage, had the engine reflashfiles but all the dealers I have been to all agree it is an air intake problem, one problem is the air to air is to close to the exhaust causing the air into the engine to become to hot. CC said no problem with the system but they did change newer models. Joe

I searched hi and lo for the Fleetguard Propylene Glycol part # 2835 (50/50) and finally found some at Lazy Days for $22 + per gallon.
Niether Cummins Orlando nor Cummins Tampa had it. Non of the truck stops had it and neither did NAPA, Wallmart, etc. Fleetgaurd part # 2830 is the 100%. CC used the Fleetgaurd coolant, so I limited search to that because I didn't want to mix different brands. Good luck.

Is there something wrong with Sierra Propylene Glycol I bought it at either Napa or Kragen. I'm sure it was less than $22.00 per gallon. It is in a green bottle.

Not sure what Sierra Propylene Glyco is, but Cummins calls for "fully formulated, low silicate" coolant. Need to check your SCA levels too.
Sierra Propylene Glyco may be just fine for all I know, I just feel better not mixing brands because I do remember buying a brand off the shelf from Flying Js and went to that coolant's web site and discovered that I wasn't supposed to mix that coolant with any other brand. Read the labels and check out Sierra's web site. Heck, I initially thought regular car-type antifreeze was OK until I read up on it and called Cummins.

Not an expert, but when I was searching for propylene glycol I called a couple of the antifreeze manufacturers and asked them if their p-g was rated for heavy duty diesel. I could not find one of P-g's that I found at any of the auto stores or NAPA that listed heavy duty diesels as one of the applications and a call to the manufacturer confirmed this. I would probably buy the Fleetguard just to be safe.

PS someone told me John Deere is now carrying a line of P-G for heavy duty diesels
