Bargeman L300 Entry Door Latch/Lock

Hello

We have the above lockset on our MH entry door. We can get the door latch to catch but are unable to lock the latch.

The door does not close far enough to for the latch to fit behind the second detent on the latch receiver. This seems to frustrate the lock actuator.

The locking mechanism does work in a test mode.

The door edge measures vertically straight. There appears to be no adjustment available to the hardware or its mounting attitude.

The door lock worked for four years until a few weeks ago.
What might be the obvious correcting adjustment that I need to make?
