Generator keeps quiting

I posted a message last week about my Powertech generator and it's starting fine, running smoothly, but then stopping after a couple minutes or less. Several people responded with possible solutions and requests to let them know when the problem was solved.

Today I took it to a CAT service center in Rockford, IL and they quickly discovered that my problem was a loose wire on the low oil sensor. Tightening the screw and $96 later and it ran perfectly.

I am thinking of changing out my 8kw generator and replacing with a 10kw. This unit is from a 2006 Allure purchased in May 06. Anyone intersted, I would like to sell for $6000.00. New I have been quoted $7900.00 for this unit. Gen set has 15 hours on it(10 for berak in at factory).
