Speedometer accuracy

Has anyone had any experience with recalibrating a speedometer? I have a portable gps I used primarily for the ability to read the odometer in my 2000 Intrigue and it was always in agreement with the speedometer in that coach. My new 2003 Allure speedometer is reading two miles pwe hour slower at 65-70 mph.I haven't checked with CC yet, but thought someone might have had a similar problem.

It seems that there is always some amount of variation between the two.
My first coach, a 99 Intrigue was not set properly at the factory. On of very first drive away from the factory, it was 12-14 mph slow................no wonder I was passing everything in site and couldn't hold it easily on mountain curves. What did I know as a brand new RV owner? We got that fixed via recalibration.
But 2 mph is not that significant to me, not sure if they can make adjustments with that small of a variation. Wish I could be more helpful.

Walt, I think GPS is only accuract to 5 mph. I wouldn't worry about that much difference. jerry in NM

I don't put much faith in any of the dash gauges. I have a SilverLeaf system and find a 20 degree difference in both the engine and transmission temperatures between the SilverLeaf and the dash. Also, some (I don't remember how much) difference in the oil pressure.
