A serious matter

Most of you know me, those of you who don't I hope to meet. I have a Country Coach Allure for sale. I want to warn all of you that over the last few days I have received some very serious scam deals by crooks who are getting names from this group and Yahoo.
They will never call, usually say out of country, and always refer to an agent. They will use DR. and God bless like it means something to them. The scam starts with the check, usually for more that the RV, and then proceeds from there.

My point is that we post here like we are among friends, as we should, just remember the bad guys are watching our post.

These are scams - we advertised a horse for sale - received an offer from out of the country - looked fishy - they would send cashiers check for more than the advertised price - an agent would contact for pickup and delivery of the horse and we were to pay the shipping charge from the excess proceeds of the check. I responded to have him send the check directly to my bank - Farmers Bank Inc. - and gave the address for the local office of the FBI.

I don't believe these scams are coming from readers of this CC site.
I used a different E-mail address when I advertised my Allure on RVonLine.
The scam messages I received (three) each used the E-mail address from the RVonline ad.
