Lazy Days Extended Warranty thru National Warranty of FL.

In June 2001 we purchased a 2000 CC Intrigue from Lazy Days. At that time we also agreed to purchase a 7 yr., 100,000 miles extended warranty plan thru Nat'l Warranty of FL. In July 2007 we broke down in Salt Lake City, the charge air cooler among other things, and Cummins called the warranty company to get approval before any work commenced. They were told our warranty had expired. We argued it was valid until June 2008. They faxed a copy to us which showed that dates had been added by Lazy Days that reflected a reduction in the term to Jan. 2000, or the mfg. date. We held the original contract with a date of 6/25/01 only! We have gone round and round with Steve Ratcliff, LD's warranty sales mgr., and their "in house" attorney. The only way we can pursue what we feel is misrepresentation on their part is to make the 3000 mile trip to FL. and spend a lot of money on attorneys which, unfortunately, our personal situation at this time does not allow.
Thought it best to at least let everyone know.

Howard,

You might try contacting the Attorney Generals office in FL to see if they might be able to help.

Good luck.
