Disconnect the Toad before Leveling?

We're leaving on a long trip Monday morning, with several one night stops. Since we won't be needing the toad on those nights I wondered if it was OK to just leave the toad hooked up to the coach when I level and then extend the slides. Any thoughts on doing that or should I always disconnect the toad before leveling.

We've left the toad connected for one night stands many times and have not had any problems. The toad and coach move up and down while traveling and leveling does the same thing.

We also have left the toad connected many times for night stands. It depends on the site and where the hookups are. We have not had an issue with it causing grief but the spots are pretty level where we have left it attached. It would also depend on if your hitch is pretty level to begin with. Just remember to disconnect the electrical and make sure you remove the keys and lock the toad. Dont forget what u did in the morning.

We too have left out toad (04 Element) connected and leveled for overnight stops.

Keeping the toad hooked up should not be a problem . . .I've been doing it that way for years without a problem. Just be sure and check you connections in the AM to confirm no one messed with you hitch set-up overnight.
