Retrackng Steps

When securing coach for long term storage, after securing coach and the 12v system, how does one retract the steps? When I close and lock the door the steps remain out exposed to the elements.

Not sure what coach you have, but on my 2003 Allure, I would turn off my engine battery after I close the front door and have the steps retract. The steps are powered by the engine battery on my coach and the battery switch is located in the last/rear compartment with the fuel filters on passenger side.
