New Owners of a Country Coach

Yahoo Message Number: 40410
Hi folks,

We are new owners of a 2001 Affinity and wanted to tell you a little about ourselves.
We have been RVing on and off since the early 70s and now we are retired and really getting into the lifestyle.

We have had a total of 5 motor homes over the years.
Last September we bought a new 2006 Alpine Coach Apex. It was a nice coach, very livable, very nice driving, but every time we drove it from one place to another and I almost always had to fix something at the end of the day.
I got tired of that and traded it in last week on this Affinity. So far this looks like it is going to be a good move.
We are dealing with Guaranty RV in Junction City, Oregon and they have been treating us very well.
Our home is in Carson City, NV. and we have a lot in Surprise, AZ for winter and have just purchased 1/2 ownership in a lot in Florence, OR. where we are currently parked.
Not much more to add for now but I will be watching this forum from time to time.

Hi Jim,

We've owned 3 Country Coaches and we now have an '05 Magna and love it. We're retired and last year we left Florida and went to the CC Rally in Tucson, and on to the FMCA Rally in Pamona, CA. We spent the winter in the southwest and loved it.
Go to a Country Coach Rally when your time permits it, they are a lot of fun, educational, and you get to meet lots of other CC owners.
We wish you safe travels and thousands of good miles on your Affinity.

Hi all! I guess this is a good time to introduce Jeanne and I. We have been involved in motor-homing since the beginning of the decade. Our Intrigue, which we bought 45 days ago also from Guaranty, is still so new to us . . . we're learning so much about it every day. It is not our first rig, or diesel pusher but first Country Coach. We love it!

I retired a year and a half ago and we moved last August from Minnesota to Branson, MO. We had a nice "toy store" built for the coach - thank goodness I thought as I lay in bed last night while Ike stormed through.

If you're interested you can take a peek at our blog, noted below, to see what we've been up to. In a week I'll update it on our recent trip from the FMCA rally in St. Paul to the Pacific Northwest, where we bought the coach. Hope to meet some of you at the Bandera, TX rally.

Hi Jim:

Congratulations on finding your CC. We have a 2000 Affinity B&B that we bought about a year ago. I am sure that our coaches have many things in common if you also have the 42ft.
If there is anything I might help you with feel free to ask. I have pretty much been over our coach with a fine tooth comb.
