Jerry

I use a 1.8 Watt Solar Battery Maintainer from Sunforce Products (www.sunforceproducts.com).

Just plug it into the 12 Volt adapter and away I go.

I have a 2009 Ford Edge that I just started towing. After two days, when I disconnected the car it wouldn't start. Battery appeared to be low so we got a jump. Tomorrow will be my next towing but not going far enough to see if happens again. We had the radio, nav system and AC off. I don't know of anything else that could have drained the power. Any ideas? It's easy to tow - put the transmission in neutral and the key in Accessory.

Morning Jerry,

We pull a Lincoln MKX '08 -- really same car. You have to trun the key just past the ACC postion -- with the car in Neutral after your morning transmission "work out" or "warm up" Turn the key counter clockwise till it turns on more. It will be past the ACC position and just before the position you would take the key out. In this position nothing is left on. This is our second summer towing the MKX and you are correct -- very easy to tow!! Good luck.
