Water fill connection leaks

Yahoo Message Number: 54876
Water is slowly leaking out of my city water connection as long as my pump is on. I assume there is a check valve leak. I did a search but could not find a post on this. Has anyone replaced it? Do I just take loose the little panel there? And where do I find a replacement part?

Al,

If you take the 4 screws out of the panel, you can pull it out enough to remove the check valve and replace it. It is nothing special, I bought a Camco brand in a regular rv parts place. Cost is in the 5-10 buck range. You will need regular tools to replace it.
You might try poking the center of yours while the water pump is on as sometimes a piece of grit will get lodged on the o-ring and let water laek.

Al,

I replaced our check valve in the summer of 2008. The CC part number for the check valve is 669169, although that probably won't do you any good. I called the valve manufacturer, Conbraco Industries, Inc., 704-847-9191, and they sent me a warranty replacement - free. Their p/n & Description is: 6150301, VLV, SFT SEAT CHK, 1/2", 61-500. Seems these valves should not fail. This should help you resolve this problem. I took the CC one back, and got my $35 back.
Good luck,
