Bathroom Fan

I have an issue with the fans in the bathroom and the main area of the motor home.

Any kind of rain or it seems like a heavy fog causes the fans to not respond to ON.

Does anyone know how I can disarm the sensor that indicates moisture and not allow the fans to turn on.

There should be a rocker type switch in the ceiling unit that is an override to manually turn off the rain sensor. It works for me. Macke 2003 Magna 42'Resort #6277

Along with the rocker switched to the red position on our F Fan, the next time you are on your roof have the fan covers in the open position. Clean the rain sensor of accumulated dust. The sensor is flat and about 1/2 by 2 inches. This is also a good time to clean the blades on the fan. To keep the lids from sticking in the shut position brush on some talcum powder onto the rubber seal.

Turning the fan speed dial all the way up should override the rain sensor and allow the lid to open and fan to run. A few minutes at full speed should dry off the rain sensor. If this does not work, your best bet is to call Fantastic at 810-724-3818. You will find them one of the best customer support companys you have ever dealt with.
