A big thank you to everyone that contributed to this thread. ITR did receive their shipment of rebuilt compressors yesterday, and I have one on the way. Also, a big thanks to Randy and the other technicians at ITR that have helped me diagnose the components of my Hurricane heater.
I have a medium sized raspberry for the supplier that wanted to sell me a new heater instead of sending the one compressor that he had left in stock. I was considering the new heater - which promised quieter and more more reliable operation. Unfortunately, the supplier did not return my phone calls that afternoon, so I could not order anything from him.
