Looking for an owner of a 1998 Intrigue with a 325 Cummins...PLEASE

I hope someone out here can help me! We had our transmission serviced a year ago and the outfit that did it left out our transmission dip stick....stuck a cap over the hole so we did not notice it till we had our oil changed recently. Anyway, they cannot find it and Allison says they have no idea what size it should be and we have no way of measuring it!!! Someone has suggested that we contact this group and get someone who has a Dynomax chassis, 325 Cummins, 6 speed Allison, to take their transmission dip stick out and measure it for us...we can then order one from Allison or at least know what size we need to locate.

If it's 325hp I assume you have a C8.3. I have a 325 in our 97 Allure that I can measure for you. Might a couple of day to get to the coach. If you can wait let me know.

I have the Cummins 350HP 8.3 ISC with the 6 speed Allison. My transmission dipstick is 80 7/8". That is measured from the bottom of the cap.

Jack, we just got a message from an owner of a 350 C8.3 and his is 80 7/8" from bottom of cap. Before we order one I would really like to know if yours is the same length. Hi I have a '97 Intrigue Horizon with Dynomax, Allison six speed, and Cummins 325. I have been in Big Bend NP with no connection to the real world so am just catching up. I did a quick measure of my transmission dipstick and it is 66" from tip to where it is screwed to the cap. full cold line is 1 and 3/4 from tip and full hot 3 and 3/4 from tip.

Not sure if anyone else reported back.
Assume you are using the electronic method to measure oil in the tranny as recommended anyway.

Hi Terry, We have a 1999 Intrigue, #10745, with the Cummins ISC350 & Allison tranny. Our coach is an end of model year tranition from the 98 to 99 model. Our transmission dip Stick measues 79 1/2 inches from tip to the base of the stub. Our dip stick does have a stock number stamped into it. That number is: 55-27372-003. Hope this helps.
