05 42ft allure 470

I have found the above coach in very nice condition. Can be bought for 150000 or maybe a little less. My only concern is it has c9 cat engine some people have had overheating problems with the c9 is this a huge concern. Will the 400 hp cat be enough in 42 coach in the mountains? Thanks for your help we are buying our first coach and don't want to make a big mistake.

We have 42,000 miles on our coach and driven nearly every type of weather, terrain, tow a 5,000 lbs car, 100+ temps outside and never had an overheating problem with our C9 power plant.
Also, I think you may be harboring a misconception, Caterpillar (any engine manufacturer) does not design or supply the cooling system, the coach mfr does. If any particular coach overheats it is very unlikely the engine is the culprit.
By and large CC did not build coaches with overheating problems, other brands have sessions at their rallies on how handle it.
