Battery Vapors

Yahoo Message Number: 62709

Hello

Should AGM batteries connected to shore power/charger at "float" give off sulfuric acid vapors and seem to bubble from one of the sealed caps? They haven't done this before yesterday. Is this a problem for these? If so how should I poceed so I can leave connected unattended? When equalizing wet cell batteries I expected this.
Thank
Ed

No way AGM's should be doing this. Are you sure they are AGM's? If so, this could be a dangerous situation.
