96 Affinity wiring

Our owner's manual states we have six extra wires from under the dash to the rear run box. I have found the wires under the dash on a terminal strip; the wires go in and out of the front run board under the driver's seat. The manual also states the Affinity does not have a rear run box which it doesn't. Does anyone have any idea where these extra wires might have ended up? Most of the wires appear to go over the engine opening in the rear, is there an access under the bed headboard or mirror possibly?
