Inverter freedom

Stan do you have air cond. when hooked up to shore power. We had a failure of the inverter this past winter and I was able to make a couple changes of circuits in the box to have outlet power when hooked up to park power.
Wheen we removed the inverter we seen the problem. The factory did not tape the wire nuts that were used to hook the inv. up. They became loose and burned melted therefore loosing connection. I had heard some humming the previous day and the T V was not working right .
I was fortunate after looking up Xantex up on the internet , they have a list of service centers by state. In Ca I contacted a fella in S Diego and got it bak the next day. He relaced a couple burned wires and bench tested it under load for a hour and all is fine since. A $100 total. $80 @ hr labor and $20 parts. I beleave new like ours to be $800+ needless to say i was releaved
