04 vintage Smart Tire - Temp/PSI accuracy

Yahoo Message Number: 73152
I did search, and will do some more on other boards, but thought I'd ask for some of your 'seat of the pants' experience. Two part question: 1) PSI and 2) Temp

1) PSI - I set all tires PSI's today, using my trucker gauge that is checked yearly for accuracy. Our tires are set per the manufacturers chart for our 6 weight points. Tag and rear duals run at 105, and fronts run at 100.
Overcast day, and coach parked so the early AM sun was to the rear of the coach. So no side was getting sun heat PSI build up.
Upon taking the rig out for it's every 4-6 week exercise, I noted Smart Tire (I think it is Smart Tire II) PSI variations of as much as 4 PSI off what the trucker gauge setting reflected. This was the first reading, after about 100 yards of 20 MPH driving. Is this inline with what others have noted with your Smart Tire? (Not real concerned, as I use the Smart Tire front/duals (no tag gauge) to look for road variations while driving. And of course for the alert from slow PSI leakage.) Just interested in what others have seen.

2) Temp - At the end of my exercise drive, about 50 mins on a normal highway route that I run, I had the following temp readings.

126/118

111/115 115/108

(Again, no tag gauge.)

Same question, are temp variations common on the Smart Tire readings? I've yet to take my coach in for the yearly maintenance, and our last trip out I worked the brakes petty hard. I now have a brake squeal sometimes, that sounds like the front left. Usually at lower speeds I hear this. Could the 8 degree higher front left temp be and indication of a problem? Bearings (19K on the coach, and I do not believe any maintenance has been done on any of the bearings or brakes.) Maybe grease on shoe causing the squeal?
Any thoughts or cautions on driving the coach about 200 miles? Going to take it into Colton Truck, from San Diego, for the upcoming yearly maintenance, and all wheel alignment check.

TIA,
Smitty
