Low Oil Pressure Warning LIght

Yahoo Message Number: 74214
Almost two years ago we experienced the "low oil pressure" light on the dash which resulted in a Cummins limp mode followed by a shutdown. We were in a long traffic tie-up on I-95 in Florida in 90 degree weather. After a cool down, a check of all fluids, and a good restart, we were able to drive the last 45 miles (non-interstate) to our destination. The engine readout displayed no fault codes stored after this episode.
Now - all of a sudden - nearly two years later, we returned from a weekend trip and just as we got home - the "low oil pressure" light came on. Today's drive was in 62 degree weather with rain. We were able to park the coach, level, and shut down. On a restart a few minutes later, the warning light was merely flickering, then went out.
We suspect that one of the oil pressure sensors is bad. Someone told us that there are two - one for the dash analog gauge, and one for the Cummins computer. Has anyone changed either of these sensors themselves (as opposed to going to a Cummins shop)? What is the difficulty level? We change our own oil, transmission fluid, coolant, and all the filters, plus grease everything greaseable.
BTW, we do not have Silverleaf, but the analog gauge did not indicate a problem when the warning light occurred.

Friend take it to Cummins and they will put a laptop on the Engine and will check for codes, Also ask them for any Software and Engine updates. From what Im hearing it's a Cummins Problem. Also have them check your Fuel Pressure on their Laptop. Ken Retired Cat Tech. 99 Allure 30356
