Replacement of Carpet with another product.

First I want to thank all of you for the valuable information you have provided me regarding various products to replace carpet, and in some instances how easy it was for you to install. The friendly exchange of idea regarding our Country Coaches has been invaluable to us.
We have seen an elegant interior flooring consisting of Marble: another with Cherry Wood Laminate, one installed parallel to the sides and another at a 45 degrees angle to the side, both were very nice. In addition we have seen Bamboo, Cork and Vinyl flooring. This flooring was all in motorhomes that we were invited to come and see after our request. Everyone was extremely hospitable. In every case we left exchanging other idea regarding improving our Inspires.
The alternatives above were not anything I could do on my own and would therefore rely on a vendor. The bids we received on the alternatives, were as high as 6 to 7 thousand dollars.
WE decided that we would first change the upholstery back to the cream vinyl, from the currently dark green material. In addition we are going to replace gold/whitish carpet with an industrial light colored carpet with some kind of a pattern in order to not show spills. Although I am not going to do any of the work myself I at least have friends in the business that will accomplish the change at a significantly lower cost.
