New to RV what road side assistance is best?

We have left the world of 5th wheels and purchased a 1998 Allure. She is prepped and loaded for our first trip next weekend to Gatlinburg, TN. What, if any, road side assistance do you fellow travelers use? With internet and smart phones I am sure we can find somebody but I will relax some knowing I had a number to call.

Coach Net is great service and was provided by Country Coach for the first year of coach ownership. Sign up for contract.

With only your phone, you might find it hard to find some type of towing service for our big coaches in a timely manner. CoachNet has provided us with big tow-trucks and good service.

We you Good Sam. For the cost of either well worth the service. One tire change or a tow pays for serveral year cost

Coach-Net is my choice. They have provided superb service. The techs are knowledgeable, and their providers are excellent.

We've had road side assistance on our MH policy for over 10 years, used it once and it paid off, the problem was/is that there was no one to call, we had to make all of the arrangements and calls, the insurance reimbursed us. Two years ago, decided to go with a company that was a "one stop shop", chose Good Sam (also kept the RA on the MH policy, inexpensive). The deciding factor was that Coachnet would not tow if you got bad fuel or messed with your fuel water separator. Not sure how they would know if your "broken down". Never used Good Sam, the reviews of both companies are mixed, friends have Good Sam and had good luck. Probably can't go wrong with either one, both have good and bad.

Coachnet has an excellent reputation and have personally used it several times with excellent results. I don't understand the comment on bad fuel they will send a contact team or tow whatever is your preference. They will not do both.

This is the verbiage in the Coachnet contract, page 5

Mechanical Defects and Improper Maintenance In case of mechanical disablement due to mechanical defects or mechanical disablement due to a) improper maintenance, including but not limited to, use of alternative fuels or improper fuel, improper servicing or draining of fuel separator, failure to maintain the battery during storage and prolonged periods of non-use, or b) fire, flood and other natural disasters, explosions, riots, and acts of terrorism, Coach-Net shall assist you in finding assistance for your vehicle but all service provider fees and other costs
Can't remember where I saw the blog, but a RV're got bad fuel in TX and Coacnet wold not tow them (under contract). Talked to my insurance agency (they also sell Coachnet) and they confirmed my interpretation.
Note that I am not "dissing" Coachnet, nor am I recommending Good Sam, just telling you what we did and why.
