CG Recommendations Phoenix AZ Needed + Canada Trip CG Details

We plan on spending about 3-4 weeks (Mid Dec. thru early Jan.) in the Phoenix area -- Mom lives in Glendale (NW) and sister lives in Sun Lakes (SE). If anyone has stayed in or knows anything Positive or Negative about any of the RV campgrounds in that area I would appreciate a response. I'm just not comfortable with the listing details in the directories. We will be there for a while, so I'd like to find a decent, clean park. Since we spend most of our time with relatives, all the park amenities are not high on the priority list. We'd prefer a park with bigger sites that could accomodate our 43' coach easily since we don't like be right on top of our neighbors. Any info would be appreciated.

PS We just returned from a 3 month trip to Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Quebec. If anyone would like a spread- sheet listing of parks we stayed at, mileage between parks and phone numbers, send me an email (note xls,123,etc.format)and I'll forward it to you. Great trip, most of the roads in NF are pretty good, but some of the remote locations require slower travel.

Check our Happy Trails RV resort in Surprise. It would not be a bad trip to Glendale but quite ajaunt to Sun Lakes. There are pricately owned lots for rent and they are good sized. There is another one on Union Hills in Peoria but those sites are tighter.
Lots of activities - golf, pool clubs, even church on Sunday at Happy Trails. Good Luck.
